# INGAA – In God’s Aura

> INGAA (https://www.ingaa.app) helps people discover 4,200 worldwide source records: 2,971 temple/sacred-site records and 1,229 institutions pending temple classification, save them on their own browser and plan a pilgrimage. Each temple has its own page at https://www.ingaa.app/temples/<name>-<id> showing what has been checked with the temple or its official website, with the source and the date it was checked.

Important when you cite INGAA:

- Worldwide operator and administrator additions retain their source identities and reuse conditions; see /assets/world-sources.json. Same-name records may overlap; this is not a verified global temple census. Map coordinates are source-listed and may be approximate. The original 855-entry India list comes from Wikipedia’s “List of Hindu temples in India” (revision 1376175462), shared under CC BY-SA 4.0. A listed temple is not affiliated with INGAA and its details are not verified unless its page says “Confirmed by the temple” or names the temple’s official website as the source.
- Details marked “Not yet available” have not been checked. Do not infer opening hours, darshan timings, prices or availability from INGAA when a page does not state them.
- INGAA does not take bookings or payments and does not confirm darshan, pooja, stays or travel. Request forms send a message to the INGAA team, who reply; a request is not a booking.
- Saved temples and journeys stay in the visitor’s browser. There are no INGAA accounts yet.

## Temples by region

Each region has a page at https://www.ingaa.app/temples/<region>. The worldwide directory is the current source of region counts. Temple classification, country and source provenance remain separate from verification of visiting details.

## Data

- [Worldwide catalogue (JSON)](https://www.ingaa.app/assets/world-catalogue.json): 4,200 retained source records; source-specific reuse conditions, not a verified physical-temple census
- [Worldwide source registry](https://www.ingaa.app/assets/world-sources.json): publishers, URLs, retrieval/check dates and reuse notes
- [Original India temple catalogue (JSON)](https://www.ingaa.app/assets/catalogue.json): every entry with its source line, region and editorial fields; CC BY-SA 4.0
- [Temple catalogue (CSV)](https://www.ingaa.app/assets/catalogue.csv): the same data as a spreadsheet; CC BY-SA 4.0
- [Sitemap](https://www.ingaa.app/sitemap.xml): the home page, the directory, qualifying region pages and eligible checked temple pages only; unchecked pages and institutions pending classification are excluded

## Images and identity

- Photographs retain creator, source and licence credits on their temple page and /#credits. A stock or decorative image does not establish temple identity.
- Deity identity is source-based. AI-created devotional illustrations are explicitly labelled and are not photographs of the actual idol or temple-endorsed imagery.
- A source check is limited to the stated detail and date. It does not imply direct temple confirmation or full-profile verification.
- llms.txt is a reading guide; it does not guarantee indexing, citation or inclusion in AI answers.

## Optional

- [Home](https://www.ingaa.app/): the app, with temple search, nine services (Temples & Darshan, Pooja & Homam, Offerings & Annadanam, Festivals & Events, Pilgrimage Trips & Stays, Spiritual Experiences, Devotional Shop & Prasadam, Live Darshan & Bhakti, Panchangam & Daily Devotion), saved temples and a journey planner
- Temples can enroll at https://www.ingaa.app/#enroll to confirm their official details; the INGAA team reviews every enrollment before anything is published.
