INGAA worldwide maps — local catalogue assembled 21 October 2026

4,200 runtime source records: 2,971 temple/sacred-site records and 1,229
institutions awaiting temple classification. These are not a deduplicated global
census. Ten explicit research identities attach to existing catalogue entries;
the original 855 source records and IDs are unchanged.

GOOGLE MY MAPS
Import each file as a separate layer in the same map:
  ingaa-world-map-layer-1.kml — 1,000 mapped records
  ingaa-world-map-layer-2.kml — 1,000 mapped records
  ingaa-world-map-layer-3.kml —   108 mapped records
Each file is below 2,000 rows and 5 MB. Source:

TEMPLE / SACRED-SITE POINTS ONLY
ingaa-world-temples.kml contains 998 mapped temple/sacred-site source records.
It excludes every institution still awaiting temple classification.

FULL ARCHIVE
ingaa-world-all-records.kml includes all 4,200 catalogue entries. The 2,092
entries without usable coordinates have no Point geometry and cannot appear as
map pins. Use the smaller layer files for My Maps; the archive exceeds its
recommended row count and size limit.
ingaa-world-unmapped.csv lists all entries still awaiting usable coordinates.

POINT ACCURACY AND SOURCES
766 points come from the original Wikipedia/Wikidata location dataset.
1,342 additional points come from retained public ISKCON directory responses.
All additional directory points are labelled approximate: their precision and
temple entrances are not independently checked. Institution pins explicitly say
classification pending. No missing point has been guessed or replaced with a
country/city centroid. Confirm location and access with each temple.

Every entry keeps its stable INGAA ID, listing source, coordinate source and
coordinate retrieval date. Research verification dates are distinct from map
retrieval dates. Wikipedia data: CC BY-SA 4.0; Wikidata coordinates: CC0;
operator directory factual extracts retain attribution and source-specific reuse
limitations. Source registry: world-sources.json, linked on the site's credits.

These changes have not been deployed to the public ingaa.app or to the previously
published INGAA Google map. Importing files does not update that map automatically.
